The Inner Feminine and Inner Masculine
According to the tradition of Alchemical Mysticism, each of us possesses an inner nature that is both masculine and feminine. Our Inner Masculine is vital, generative, and expressive. Reflected on our right, solar side, its nature is linked to the energies of the sun. It is considered to be vibrant and electric—both protector and provider. The Inner Masculine has attributes of investigating, probing, searching, penetrating. The Inner Feminine, or lunar side, is receptive and magnetic. Its nature, reflected on our left side, is like the moon’s energetic influence on the tides, reaching out yet drawing inward. Our Inner Feminine is emotional, sensory, perceptual, nurturing, and caregiving.
Through the alchemical process of The Constellation Approach™, we can transform our prejudices and misperceptions about the opposite—by opening to what is inside us. We can enter into communion with our own dual nature, joining our Inner Feminine and Inner Masculine to unite the polarities and create an inner marriage. We can come to peace with our Inner Feminine and Inner Masculine gaining unprecedented access to the fullness of our innermost self.
