Siblings
Our siblings are the only other persons that have emerged through the same portal of our mother’s body into life as we have done. With similar genetic inheritance, energetic signature, and imprinting from the paternal and maternal ancestral lineages, there is no other human being that has the potential to know and understand us as our siblings do. Visual resemblance to each other may not be evident, yet, for the Soul, siblings recognize one another intensely.
During the course of a lifetime we drift in and out of association with our brothers and sisters to varying degrees. We pursue individual paths, following our own heart’s dreams and Soul-longings while remaining energetically tethered to a matching mother and father. Parents bring us together and perpetually link us throughout life. Through their aging and dying processes, they create another opportunity to reconnect and reaffirm our Sibling relationships.
Despite early struggle or difficulty, it is possible to reemerge and evolve into true Soul friends as adults. Sibling relationships last longer than marriages and live on after our parents’ death.
Direct Experience with Siblings
Take a few objects from your surrounding environment to represent your siblings and one for yourself. Place them in birth order in front of you, leaving a space for the object representing you. Say each of their full names out loud, and at the end of each say My sister or My Brother. Allow whatever thoughts, memories and feelings to arise with each. Notice the difference.
Choose one or two of the following Words of Empowerment to say to each sibling:
We come from the same mother and father.
We are different, yet we are blood.
You went your way, and I went mine.
You remain my brother/sister.
I accept you fully as my brother/sister.
I would like to find another way with you.
Take a final moment and send each of your siblings a well wish.
For those who do not have any siblings, chose an object to represent “no sibling” and place it in front of you. Allow any thoughts, memories and feelings to arise in you. Place an object for yourself next to this other “field of consciousness.”
Say out loud three times, I agree.
